This is a premium one-day adventure designed for nature enthusiasts from Europe, America, and Australia (adventure tourism lovers, long-hike enthusiasts, and sustainable travelers) to traverse a part of the epic "JAPAN TRAIL" that connects the entire country.
The route from Mt. Oginosen's "Furumori Trailhead" over the peaks of Oozukko and Kozukko features a continuous stretch of magnificent virgin beech forest as far as the eye can see, along with dynamic ridge walking that will deeply satisfy a hiker's spirit of adventure. After descending, to avoid ruined paths, we take a safe and scenic route to the "Mizu-to-no-Fureai Plaza" (Water Interaction Plaza). From there, a smart itinerary using private vehicle transport allows you to seamlessly move to the next highlight while soothing your tired body.
The water purified over many years by the virgin beech forest (the "Green Dam") you just walked through is used to create local "tofu." By tasting this exquisite tofu and finally looking up at "Amedaki," where this very water cascades down, you will engage both your five senses and your appetite. This is a tour with a perfect storyline that allows you to fully comprehend the natural cycle and its blessings.

08:45 | Departure from Furumori Trailhead & Trekking Start: Enter the beech forest enveloped in pleasant silence. Start walking in the crisp morning air.

10:30 | Oozukko & Kozukko Ridge Walking and Virgin Beech Forest: Enter Mt. Oginosen's proud, beautiful pure beech forest area. Enjoy an authentic hike feeling the breath of giant trees and the topography created by volcanoes, stepping on the soft, leaf-covered trail (JAPAN TRAIL).

11:30 | Arrival at "Mizu-to-no-Fureai Plaza" ➔ Pick-up by Private Vehicle: Descend to the trekking goal point. Hop into the waiting private vehicle, loosen your boot laces, and relax during a comfortable drive to the Amedaki area (approx. 15 minutes).

12:00 | Lunch: Exquisite Lunch at "Tofu Ryori Amedaki": Visit a renowned restaurant located right next to Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls, "Amedaki". 13:30 | Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls "Amedaki" Geo-Walking: After lunch, take a short walk along the promenade to "Amedaki". Closely observe the stunning "columnar jointing" rock surfaces formed when volcanic lava cooled and solidified, feeling the dynamism of the Earth.
